PUHOI DESCENDANTS CELEBRATE 150 YEARS

  • The Bohemian Association is organising the following event; 
    The weekend of.....


    Friday 22nd February 2013 
    This event kicks off the Puhoi Celebrations! At this time 150 years ago, the Pioneers would have left their hometown in Bohemia for the 4 month journey to Puhoi New Zealand.
    Evening - 
    Starting with, a meet and greet at the Puhoi Tavern along with a  musical jam session.

    urday 23rd February 2013
    Morning - Afternoon- kayaking up the Puhoi river, Geneoloy, tour of Couldry House. swimming at the beach, bush walks, boat rides, picnic lunch at Wederholm park
    or Farmers Market in Puhoi Domain, visit to the Cemetery or Cheese factory in Puhoi.

     Evening - Old Time Dance in Puhoi Hall 7:30pm - 11:30pm
    Association members $20 single $25 double
                 Non-members $30 single $45 Double

    Ticket purchase C/- Bohemian Association
    To join the Bohemian Association and recieve the "Homeland News"  only costs $20.
